Flowers would be lovely! I wonder if you would have anything written on the little card that usually comes with them. A minimalist might simply “XO, Jim.” Thanks for the idea.
If it someone I know well, I would get a blank card and write my own info. However, there are times when you may not know the person well, but know one of their loved ones and want to send something out of respect to that person. Then I’d buy one.
Ethical wills have been used for centuries to offer guidance to younger generations. Legacy letters are similar but tend to have a different emphasis. Both share the values and love of your lifetime. Either of them can be included with your legal documents or else offered separately in various ways.
Create your own LIFESPAN LEGACY -- so while you can "be here now" for those you love, you can also be sure to "be here then," when your love and guidance may make all the difference.
Getting it done (in parts)/ Changing your mind / Clergy and ethical wills / For new parents / For self-reflective sorts / About forgiveness / "I don't need to say it, they already know!" / Artist sketchbook as legacy communication / Woodworker's gift / Fill in the blanks
JUST GO WITH FLOWERS AND BE DONE WITH IT.

I would not attempt to write a personal Hospice message if I am able to find a card that expresses my sentiments.
Thanks for your feedback, George!

I think that’s a super point to make — who the recipient is could make that particular difference. Thanks for pointing it out!
ditto to pam’s reply.
This response is the one I’m hearing most from people. Thanks for the feedback!
